Hi There, I am Nikki
Running my own business wasn’t always the plan.
A few years ago, you would’ve found me climbing the corporate ladder, leading strategy, juggling deadlines, building other people’s brands, and quietly wondering why the work I was “supposed” to love felt so heavy.
Then came the layoff.
What should’ve felt like the end of something ended up being the start of everything.
As a former journalist, I did the only thing that made sense to me:

I shared real, vulnerable stories on LinkedIn. The layoff, the pivots, the experiments, the journey, the moments we all think but rarely say out loud.
One post took off.
Then another.
Then suddenly, founders, executives, and companies started reaching out asking for help telling their stories too.
What began as a creative outlet became a business built on storytelling, strategy, and helping people show up in a way that actually sounds like them.
Today I run a full consulting practice, co-founded BrandME Labs, and partner with leaders and companies who want clarity, confidence, and content that moves their business forward — without burnout or BS.
I probably should’ve known the girl who made PowerPoints for fun, hosted full news broadcasts every morning for her family over breakfast, and ran a women’s magazine out of her dorm in college was destined for a career in storytelling.
But honestly? Every step from journalism, corporate marketing, leading teams, ghostwriting, consulting, creating online gave me the exact mix of skills I use today to help people grow their brands and influence.
You can’t connect the dots looking forward.
But looking back?
They make a surprisingly good story.

These days, you can usually find me:
Hanging out in the LinkedIn comments, connecting with the smartest people on the internet, and turning everyday conversations into content ideas.
Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship, usually with a motherhood metaphor sneaking its way into my marketing (somehow it always fits).
Building magnetic brands for executives, founders, and companies who want to sound human and high-impact.
Ghostwriting for leaders across industries, taking their ideas and turning them into content that actually moves the needle.
Coaching creators inside The LinkedIn Lab, helping them go from inconsistent to unstoppable.
Interviewing impressive people on my podcast Talk Digital To Me, getting them to share the insights they usually only give behind closed doors.
Because that’s the real power of showing up online with clarity and confidence.

When people assume this is “just a little LinkedIn thing,” I remind them I run a multi–six-figure consulting practice built on storytelling, systems, and strategy.
The title that taught me patience, persistence, and that sometimes your best marketing ideas come while cutting grapes into quarters.
I didn’t plan on becoming one. Then the Forbes layoff happened, I posted a story, and suddenly a whole community found me.
✨ Your voice is an asset, not an afterthought.
Most people underestimate the power of what they already know and how they naturally speak. I help them find it, refine it, and use it.
✨ Marketing works best when it’s human.
People don’t connect with perfection. They connect with honesty, clarity, and stories that feel real.
✨ Consistency beats complexity every time.
You don’t need a 47-step funnel or a brand-new reinvention. You need simple systems that make showing up sustainable.
✨ You don’t have to be the loudest to be influential.
Quiet leaders, thoughtful leaders, empathetic leaders, they win when their message is clear.
✨ The internet rewards courage, not polish.
The post you almost didn’t share, the story you think no one wants to hear, the idea you think is “too simple” that’s often the one that changes everything.
✨ Magic happens when you build a brand that feels like you.
When your online presence matches who you are offline, opportunity flows in naturally: clients, roles, invites, partnerships, community.
